Open the note and tap Transcribe Again in its menu. There you can pick the engine and the language. Settings > Transcription also offers the Parakeet speech model, which you can download and use on your device.

Every feature is free for your first 50 notes. Notes in Recently Deleted, list items and the sample notes do not count. Notaki Unlimited is a one-time purchase that removes the limit on iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac. It is not a subscription, and you can share it with your family through Family Sharing.

Open the purchase screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure that you are signed in with the same Apple Account that you used to buy it.

Settings > iCloud > Sync with iCloud keeps your notes the same on all your devices, through your own private iCloud. Recordings sync only when you turn on Include Audio, because they use more iCloud storage.

Turn on Sync with iCloud on the old iPhone and let it finish. Then sign in to the same iCloud on the new iPhone and open Notaki. You can also use Settings > iCloud > Export Backup File on the old iPhone, then Restore from File on the new one.

Yes. Turn on Settings > Privacy & Feedback > Require Face ID. While Notaki is locked, note text stays out of widgets, Spotlight and Siri.

Yes. Settings > Destinations connects an Obsidian vault or other folder, and Calendar and Reminders. To take everything out at once, use Settings > Export All Notes. It makes a zip of Markdown files, with a folder for each category.

Not yet. You can share a copy of any note or list with the share sheet.

Open Settings > Recently Deleted. Deleted notes stay there for 30 days.

Settings > iCloud > Erase Everything removes your notes, backups and category settings from this device and from iCloud. Do the same on your other devices. The privacy policy has more detail.
